Mission Statement
At Smithville School, we believe that all children are capable of learning. Our mission is to provide a positive, yet challenging learning environment where students are given the opportunity to become successful in all areas, preparing them to become productive citizens and have bright futures by achieving their personal goals.
Awards Days
7th - 11th Grade Awards Day is on Monday, May 4th in the Dome at 8:00 a.m. Students must follow the dress code.
K-2nd Grade Awards Day is on Monday, May 4th in the Dome at 9:00 a.m.
3rd-6th Grade Awards Day is on Monday, May 4th in Dome at 10:00 a.m.
Softball North Half is Thursday, May 7th at West Union at 6:30 p.m. Game 2 will be Friday, May 8th at Smithville at 6:30 p.m.
May 14th after school there will be a tryout/training session for the Smithville Fall Guard for the 2026 Fall marching season. All participants will be trained in what will be on the tryout. This will be for students in the 7th-12th grade next year. See Mr. Thompson for more details.
Any incoming Juniors or Seniors interested in Work-Based Learning need to fill out an application. Scan the QR code on the sheet on the bulletin board in the high school hallway.
Any High School girls interested in joining the Crown Club Junior Auxiliary of Amory should scan the QR code on the flyer on the bulletin board by the counselor’s office. This is due May 15th.
