At Smithville School, we believe that all children are capable of learning. Daily Announcements - November 20, 2020

Thanksgiving Holidays - November 23rd through November 27th.

The Ambassadors are collecting money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In the past this has been known as Pennies for Patients. Please help out by placing any spare change you can in the boxes found in each teacher’s room.

Smithville’s College and Career Readiness Class is holding a “Santa’s Seminoles Toy Drive” from today through December 11th. If you would like to contribute towards their Community Service Project, please bring a “new, unwrapped” toy to Mrs. Sims’ room (or let her know you have some in your room and she will send someone to pick them up.)

**Every Wednesday all students will be dismissed at 1:00.**

Monroe County School District is excited to announce that the FREE school meal program has been extended through the rest of the school year. ALL students may receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. Students may also purchase extra items such as ice cream!

The Summer Food Service Program of the USDA is sponsoring the free breakfast and lunch for ALL students. If you have not done so, parents/guardians should submit a free/reduced meal application per household at for 2020-2021 school year.
