At Smithville School, we believe that all children are capable of learning. Our mission is to provide a positive, yet challenging learning environment where students are given the opportunity to become successful in all areas, preparing them to become productive citizens and have bright futures by achieving their personal goals.

ICC Preview Day is March 20th. Any Junior or Senior that wants to attend needs to sign up on the sign up sheet on the bulletin board outside the counselor’s office.
Any 10th Grader interested in taking any Dual Credit classes MUST take the ACT by April. The deadline to register without late fees is March 6.
Scholarship Applications for the CREATE Foundation (Yes, I’m Trevon Scholarship, MS Society of Social Work, and the Jordan Lindsey Scholarship) are due this Thursday, March 5th. Have the forms turned in to Mr. Crum by the end of the day.
Prom Tickets are on sale. $25 per ticket. Need to see Mrs. Becker or Mrs. Eaton to purchase tickets.
The Spring Blood Drive is Wednesday, April 1st. This will be Seniors last chance to earn their blood cord at school. Seniors can sign up first and will have until Tuesday, March 17th to sign up. After that, anyone else will be able to sign up. Seniors, please see Mrs. Sims to sign up and if you have questions or want to know if you have earned your cord.
